About East Berlin Fish and Game Association, L.L.C.

The East Berlin Fish and Game Association, L.L.C., was incorporated as a Pennsylvania Limited Liability Corporation (L.L.C.) by decree of the Court of Common Pleas of Adams County, Pennsylvania, dated July 18, 1949, recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Adams County, Pennsylvania, in Miscellaneous Docket U at Page 421.

The Association is organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Association has no official political stance, makes no attempt(s) to influence legislation in any part of its events and/or activities and does not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates or issues. Under the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, each Association member is allowed to voice their thoughts and opinions, however under no circumstances are members’ opinions to be understood and/or construed as an official Association position.

The Association functions primarily as a member based organization whose daily operations are managed by a Board of Directors where activities and events are Committee based. Annual elections by the General Membership determine the composition of the Board of Directors and Officers however Committee Chairpersons are appointed by the President or filled by volunteers.

The Board of Directors and General Membership meet monthly.

The primary focus of the Association is promoting outdoor sports based on the principles of sportsmanship in a family friendly environment. The Association adheres to all Commonwealth Laws, and all rules and regulations set forth by the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Pennsylvania Fish Commission.

The Association Compound is comprised of 96 acres of partially wooded land, a two acre pond, a main clubhouse and an indoor archery range.

Hunting and fishing is permitted on Association property in accordance with the Laws of Pennsylvania and General Club Rules.

There are four types of Association membership:

                           Junior Member                          Below 18 years of age, non voting membership
                           Regular Member                      18 years of age and over, basic voting membership
                           Senior Member                         Regular Member of 10 years or more and over 62 years of age
                           Life Member                              Senior Member with service as a Director or Officer

As directed by the ByLaws and General Club Rules, membership cards are issued yearly with membership renewal and must be worn and prominently displayed while on Association property.

Alcohol on Association property is allowed only by permission of the Board of Directors.

Illicit substances are strictly prohibited at all times on Association property – NO EXCEPTIONS!

All Association buildings are smoke/vape free facilities.
